Today I have been trying to capture the misty hills of Galloway.
I have been using watercolour paint and glazing over the basic shapes
with washes of varying strengths ,this seems to give me the hazy feel I want
but it is still not quite what I want so I will just keep trying.

rekindling the blog

It has been almost a year since we used this blog

It was usually Ruthie who wrote the posts but she has little

time for it now as she has her own blog and Etsy shop to run

along with her own business

We had a great response when we did the craft trail last year

Now we are working toward this year at the same venue

I have also just opened an Etsy shop so this is a new venture to me

It will take me some time to get into this blogging so please bear with

me whilst I learn the ropes

a soft wind is ruffling the surface of the waters.
